- make the crumble and set aside in the fridge - grate the pears, drain them if they are very juicy - combine sugar, oil, eggs, vanilla and zest until smooth - add the grated pears - mix flour with spices
- add flour mix into the wet batter - spoon batter into prepared pan - you can sprinkle more shredded pears on top and finish with a layer of hazelnut crumble - bake 50-55 min - cool in the pan before removing and slicing
- with a dusting of powdered sugar - topped with whipped cream - with vanilla ice cream - make it into bread pudding - breakfast style with Greek yogurt
