- prep the cherries - beat egg yolks with the powdered sugar - mix in vanilla, orange zest and ricotta - beat whites until soft peaks, add the powdered sugar - gently fold the whites with the ricotta mixture - sift in flour
- add melted, cooled butter - you can add some cherries as well - transfer into a baking pan - arrange cherries on top - bake 30-35 minutes - coll and dust with powedered sugar right before serving
