- finely chop the sauerkraut, set aside - sauté the chopped kielbasa - sauté leeks, parsnips, and carrots - add veggies, broth and aromatics to a large pot and simmer 10-12 min - stir in the chopped kraut and simmer another 10 min
- remove bay leaves, allspice, juniper berries - stir in the kielbasa and cook all together few more minutes - serve with crusty bread and a dollop of horseradish cream
- with a side of crusty bread - garnished with fresh dill and crunchy croutons - with side salad - topped with dollop of horseradish cream
