- make the dough: peel and cook the potatoes, combine with egg and flour - cook the plums until softened - roll the dough and cut into pieces - flatten each piece into a disc and place a spoonful of the plum filling in the center - fold the dough around the plum filling
– cook the dumplings in boiling water - in a small pan prepare the breadcrumb topping - toast the pecans - top the cooked knedle with breadcrumbs, roasted pecans and dollop of cream
- serve warm with a dollop of cream - enjoy with side of light soup or salad - serve as warm dessert - add ice cream
